Dave is, of course, the fan-favorited utter "coolkid" of Homestuck. He is extremely hung up on being "cool," or "suave," but his coolness is often a mask that hides his insecurities. He should sound cool, but please not monotone. He sings at a baritone/tenor level. The actor who plays Dave will also play Davesprite, and will contribute to the part of Davepeta, either by voice mixing or splitting the part.


Some of Dave's big songs include "Don't do Sadness" from Spring Awakening and "Ring of Keys" from Fun Home.
