Blood Run

30 lines.
Dayna enters Blake's 7 Series 3 as a brilliant, young weapons expert whose optimism and curiosity survive even the trauma of her father’s murder. She has a naturally musical, expressive voice and a forthright manner that makes her stand out immediately. Energetic, inventive, and physically confident, she often leaps into danger with a kind of fearless joy, bringing warmth and vitality to the Liberator crew.
By Series 4 she is hardened. The destruction of the Liberator, the chaos on Terminal, and fellow crewmate Cally’s death strip away much of her earlier brightness. Dayna becomes more self‑contained and more openly driven by anger, though her expressive voice and directness remain part of her presence. She challenges their leader, Avon more readily, trusts her own instincts, and approaches missions with a sharper, more pragmatic focus.
Her weapons skills are still central, but they feel less like a craft she delights in and more like a necessity for survival. The grief she carries is rarely spoken, yet it shapes her tone, her decisions, and her relationships. In Series 4, Dayna is still young, still brave, still formidable — but now marked by loss, and no longer willing to pretend the fight is anything but brutal.

I'm not sure that shuttle will fit in the hold, Avon.
You could have saved him! You should have saved him!
Whatever it is, we need to do it quickly. If Tayne is sending pursuit ships we need to bring Tarrant and Soolin back on board and get away.
