Mas Amedda is the rigth hand man of Emperor Palpatine and the Grand Vizier within the Empire. After Sidious became Emperor of the known Galaxy, Palpatine give every political task over to Amedda, so he became the public face of the goverment in the empire. He know about Palpatines true identity as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious and served him even in the early days of his chancellorship. Because that, Amedda remain one of the few people in the empire to speak with the Emperor personaly.
