Epic Ruler for [UNNAMED – “Jack’s Friend”]
[UNNAMED – “Jack’s Friend”]
Gender: Male
Voice Age: Late teens to early 20s
Voice Type: Medium–high range, expressive, energetic
Accent: Open (natural accent preferred; light American works well)
Character Summary:A charismatic, outgoing guy who thrives on social energy. He’s the kind of person who’s always talking, always inviting people out, and always chasing the next exciting thing—whether that’s parties, girls, or just being surrounded by people.
He genuinely cares about Jack, but struggles to understand him. Where Jack is quiet, focused, and introspective, he’s loud, impulsive, and socially driven. His attempts to include Jack come from a good place… but he doesn’t realize how overwhelming—or isolating—it can feel.
Personality Traits:- Extroverted and talkative
- Confident, a little cocky (in a harmless way)
- Easily distracted
- Social butterfly
- Well-meaning, but not very emotionally aware
- Natural, conversational delivery—don’t overact
- Slightly fast-paced speech (he talks a lot and gets excited)
- Casual, relaxed tone—like he’s always mid-conversation
- Occasional teasing/playful energy
- Important: He is NOT a jerk—he just doesn’t realize how his behavior affects Jack
The selected voice actor will have the opportunity to name this character.
Upbeat / Persuasive (trying to get Jack out of his shell): "C’mon, Jack! You’ve been stuck in here all week—live a little, man. I swear, you’ll actually have fun for once."
Rambling / Excited (talking about his social life): "Okay, so listen—this girl I met? She’s been texting me nonstop, and dude—you should see her, like, seriously, I don’t even know how I pulled that—"
Light Frustration / Genuine (shows he cares, even if he doesn’t get it): "I don’t get you sometimes, man… I’m trying to include you, y’know? You don’t have to shut me out every time."
Hey, really liked your take on Jack’s friend—felt really natural and the talkative energy fits the character well.
Only small notes would be maybe pulling back slightly in the more serious moments and letting the emotion sit underneath a bit more.
But yeah overall really solid 👍
