The Crying Child Series
Shae for Sadiya
Character: Sadiya
Voice Type: Female, mid–high range (young adult)
Accent: Light Southern (preferred) or neutral with playful inflection
Personality:Sadiya is charismatic, playful, and unpredictable. She carries herself with confidence and a teasing attitude, often speaking like she’s enjoying herself even in serious situations. She can come across as friendly or even comforting—but there’s always an underlying edge that reminds you she’s not entirely safe.
She isn’t chaotic for the sake of it—she’s in control, and she knows exactly how she’s coming across.
Performance Direction:
- Energetic, playful delivery with natural charm
- Slight teasing tone in most lines
- Can switch from lighthearted → serious smoothly
- Confidence is key—she should never sound unsure
- Underlying danger should come through subtly, not exaggerated
Important:Avoid going full “crazy” or overly cartoonish. Sadiya should feel like she’s having fun, not losing control.
- animation
- american (southern)
- female adult
(playful, teasing) “What’s buggin’ ya, kitten? Ain’t never seen a demon before or somethin’?”
(light, reassuring—but slightly off) “Don’t you worry, hon… he ain’t gonna find you here.”
(curious, intrigued, with a hint of danger) “Well now… those are some interesting eyes you’ve got there.”
Hey, I really liked your take on Sadiya—the playful vibe and teasing tone fit her really well, and honestly your voice sounds pretty much how I imagined her.
Only small thing I’d say is maybe lean a bit more into the “in control” side with the delivery. There were a couple moments that felt a bit more chaotic, but she works best when it feels like she knows exactly what she’s doing the whole time.
But yeah overall really solid 👍
