Matsuki Kazumi is the protagonist of the story, though it seems like an odd role for an anxious student like her. Matsuki is the Ultimate Diary Journalist, an expert in recording memories with just a swift of her pen on paper. She tenses to be really careful with her actions, worrying and over exaggerating over the small problems she faces. Besides writing on her diary, she isn't confident in the things she does. Nonetheless, she always puts in effort to try her best. Coming from an isolated childhood, Matsuki doesn't like being relied on by anyone but herself. She does enjoy the company of her new classmates, so maybe that would change her mind about it.
