Mochin for The Pokedex
The Pokédex is a recurring role that will appear frequently throughout the series, so reliability and consistency are very important. The voice should be fluid, clear, and easy to understand, with an upbeat and energetic tone that feels informative yet friendly. This role delivers a lot of exposition, Pokémon facts, and real-time observations, so strong diction and smooth pacing are essential.
The Pokédex should sound intelligent and helpful without feeling robotic or monotone. The ideal voice actor can switch between excitement, curiosity, urgency, and calm explanation depending on the situation. Since the Pokédex is present in many episodes, the actor must be comfortable recording regularly and maintaining a consistent voice across sessions. A passion for Pokémon and the ability to make information engaging and fun is a big plus.
This role can be done by anyone. And for reference is the Pokemon XYZ show female voice, or the Original show's male voice from Indigo League.
