Asgore is the king of all monsters, the final boss of the game, he forces Frisk to a fight to stop them from leaving the underground.

From what we can tell about how he sounds ingame, Asgore has a very deep voice, he should sound manly and a little old, but at the same time should denote a certain kindness and sadness in his overall tone.

I'm leaving this here in case anyone can do a better job portraying those same feelings of sadness than what's already in the animatic.

  • Howdy! How can
I-... *GASP*  (PAUSE) I so badly want to say,  would you like a cup of tea?...  But... you know how it is (PAUSE) Nice
day today, huh? Birds are singing, flowers are blooming... Perfect weather for
a game of catch! (PAUSE) ...You know what we must do, when you
are ready, come into the next room.

  • This is the barrier this is
what keeps us all trapped underground (PAUSE) If... If by chance you have any unfinished business... Please do what you must

  • Human... it was a nice to meet you... goodbye.

Hi! the tone of your voice seems to be very fitting for Asgore! However not too much into the audio it becomes easy to tell that he's sort of reading a script instead of talking to someone, There are some pauses that are unnecessary and while you did a good job giving off a feeling of sadness, I think you overdid it a bit by making him sound somber from beginning to end, to the point he almost sounds unemotional. If possible I'd like to see if you can maintain consistency while trying to raise your voice, making Asgore sound more happy at the beginning (especially before knowing he's talking to Frisk) and make it sound like he's trying to hide his sorrow, then slowly sounding more and more sad and resigned in a way. I hope you can understand what I mean, in any case you're always welcome to do a reaudition!
