Cream is the 2nd female character that is not supposed to be voiced freely. Aim for a performance style similar to Michelle Ruff (Modern Games/Generations), Rebecca Honig (Sonic X/Dark Era). You can actually be a child voicing her! Though, I doubt any little kids would be on here, I'd say at least 6+ if they can read and speak well. REMEMBER:
  • Cream is incredibly well-mannered. Even when she is upset or in battle, she rarely loses her soft, respectful tone. She should sound like she’s always saying "please" and "thank you" with her voice.
  •  Her voice should be light and airy.
  • While her pitch is high, avoid making her sound "shrill" or "piercing." It should be a gentle, pleasant high-pitch that is easy on the ears.
  • Do not "squeeze" the back of your throat to sound small. Use high head-voice resonance and keep your jaw relaxed to maintain that "sweet" quality without straining.
  • Ensure recordings are free of background noise, peaking, or excessive room reverb for professional consideration.
*(EXTRA: Also note that this cast will sing sometimes, not a lot but sometimes. If you cannot sing in the character's voice, that is acceptable, and another performer can be sought for the singing parts, while you retain the voice acting role.)*
