The Narrator can be anyone, male or female, but they should likely have a British accent as Harry Potter is a British book. I have no specific thoughts of what the Narrator's voice should sound like, but you must have lots of stamina and a good quality microphone. The entire Dramatic Read relies on you.
Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense.
A man appeared on the corner the cat had been watching, appeared so suddenly and silently you'd have thought he'd just popped out of the ground. The cat's tail twitched and its eyes narrowed.
Uncle Vernon waited until Piers was safely out of the house before starting on Harry. He was so angry he could hardly speak.
