Red for Naka Tomi - Ultimate Lucky Student
(Nah-kah Toh-mee)
Gender: Male
The main character of this story. Prior to his time at Hope's Peak, he lived a simple life. Typical hopes, ideas, and goals. Eventually, however, he got accepted through a lottery system into Hope's Peak Academy, the most prestigious school in the world. However, instead of a top-notch education, he finds himself trapped in a game of life or death.
Fitting for a main character, he has a great deal of dialogue. A sizable portion of it is through narrating what he thinks and sees throughout his experience in the killing game. The voice actor for Naka will need to be able to engage with a plethora of emotions, many bad, and many good. No strict requirements for voice are held, though a medium tone and normal texture is preferred. It is to be noted that he frequently has mood swings, and oftentimes comes off as rude when he does not mean to due to not thinking especially clearly on what he says. He also oftentimes comes of as rude when he does mean to, and is thinking very clearly about what he says.

(Narration, opening the story) “Complete and total exceptionality. That’s what people say you should strive for, right? You should always be yourself and yourself should always be unique. It sounds ridiculous, really. It always has to me. I never strove for whatever I was told to. I just do as I think, right? It hasn’t been that bad a choice thus far, really. I have a few friends, my grades aren’t that bad, I work a job every summer and I have a decent amount of spending money. My life, though not exceptional, isn’t half bad. That is, until a single letter would change everything.”
(Inquisitive, coming off as a bit rude) “Naka Tomi, Lucky Student. I think I remember you from all the news stuff about the new class. Innovator… What does that mean, exactly? Like, you just come up with ideas?”
(Angry, spiteful at his own student profile) “I have interests! I cook! We were just over this! They couldn’t even be bothered to find my likes and dislikes?!”
