Nerdy Nom Nom for Marak
A cloaked stranger the Winslow sisters meet one night returning home, it is soon revealed that Marak is the Goblin King, ruling over a kingdom hidden underground and who has taken a keen interest in Kate. As ruler, he puts the interest of his people first and foremost, as it at the upmost importance he secure a King's Wife soon. At the same time, he takes great pleasure in antagonizing Kate and taunting/mocking her any chance he gets. He is very honest and straight-to-the-point, and like a true goblin takes great glee in revenge and trickery. While for the most part, he seems to always be in a good mood, he can get quite nasty if things aren't the way he likes them. Even though Kate describes him as one of the most gruesome and hideous thing she has ever seen, his appearance is nothing compared to his loyal subjects (and if I'm being honest, I really wish I could make him look more like I see in my head and how the Author intended him to be).
Age: Kate has described him as being not too young and but also not being too old. Goblins life span is also very different from a humans

Line 1: (cheerily, pointing out the obvious)"I could have dragged you down to my kingdom that first night kicking and screaming, but I'm glad that I didn't because you interest me. Line 3: (warning, and then almost pleasent as if holding a simple conversation, but persuasive)"Don't you dare speak to her. She's not even related to you. No, you want talk to me, your own flesh and blood. Isn't that right cousin?"Line 4: (giving orders to Seylin)"Now, go, and if you want to show M your new trick with the colored flames, do it somewhere away from low ceiling so you don't leave a scorch mark this time."
A reel of laughing different ways: hysterical, chuckling, snorts.... He does this a lot as he seems easily amused by human antics
