OVERVIEW: Milo is a very intelligent student at Acland Academy and Gun's roommate. He is younger than Gun because he skipped a few grades. Milo is very upbeat and optimistic. He sees Gun as a big brother despite being treated rudely by him. He secretly wants to join the Rebels and fight against the Union.

VOICE: Higher pitch, happy.

  • [pleasant] I'm Milo Mellinger, pleased to meet you Morris. Everyone calls me a genius around here because I skipped a few grades, but I'm not bragging.

  • [serious, persistent] I've thought about it every way I can, and it makes sense! I've overheard Conner talking about the Rebels and well... the three of you are always disappearing when stuff is going on. One of you is always showing up to class looking like you haven't slept in ages. Josephine even had that bandage on her arm! 

  • [worried] But curfew is in an hour! When they come for the nightly room check, you'll be missing! You'll be in big trouble!
