Granny Yarnie is the embodiment of patience, warmth, and wisdom. While the rest of Terra Village is defined by their sturdy, no-nonsense earth pony traditions, Granny has a soul as soft and colorful as the wool she knits.
She doesn't see a "science experiment" when she looks at Melony, she sees a granddaughter who needs a place to land. She is sweet but never fragile, possessing a sharp mind and a steady voice that can calm a panic attack or silence a room of gossiping villagers with a single look. She is Melony’s mentor and guide.
