Homura Akemi is (SPOILER ALERT) a time traveler trapped in a time loop, reliving the exact same couple of weeks over and over again. She has a very close relationship with Madoka (that we're going to read WAY to much into). For most of the series she is pretty emotionless after all the pain she's gone through.

Voice: Whoever plays Homura must be able to do two distinctly different voices. 1) An depressed emo voice that will be the one she uses for most of the show. 2) For the flashback episode she is timid and shy.

  • (Emotionless): My favorite color is black, like my soul.

  • (Sadly): If only you would listen to me Madoka, things would be so much easier.

  • (Shyly): Uh, my name is Homura Akemi...
