Role assigned to: Josh Kernel

An elderly, grey haired forensic scientist who eventually becomes a rival vigilante to Knightblitz, using an exosuit with a Robin Hood aesthetic. He shows up early on in the series as the corrupt head of Arlamor Police Department’s forensics division before becoming a vigilante by Episode 23. As the vigilante Verdentiil, Jonah uses self-invented ‘Teleporter Pearls’ that teleport him to wherever they land once thrown for stealth and a pair of pistol-like plasma-based guns that can be combined back-to-back into a sniper rifle-like form for offense.

To be honest, not the worst take on the provided lines for Jonah Warrick / Verdentiil I’ve heard. It’s especially good on Verdentiil, which has been surprisingly difficult for people to get right. Admittedly, if I had to give some pointers, maybe dial back the aggression in Jonah’s voice as Jonah Warrick, and as Verdentiil, introduce a little bit more bombast: instead of grinding your teeth and holding back so much in the provided audition line, allow yourself to just go gung-ho and shout out what the character is feeling. Also, I will admit, I generally recommend trying to get some varied but simple lines in there to show variety: the lines I chose for Jonah aren’t the best, for showing this particular character's full intended range.
