In Greek mythology, Hermes is the Messenger of the Gods.

In this project, he will have a major presence in the core story and will have appearances in some of the side stories.

Probably one of the friendliest of the Gods in this first group of auditions. Hermes, I would say, is intended to be the most social, which one normally has to be when you have a position like his. To most newcomers, he usually keeps up this persona, but when it comes to others he's more familiar with, is when his trickster side breaks free. He more commonly annoys his siblings (cough cough Apollo cough cough), but he avoids going too far where it genuinely causes problems. While he may seem like he doesn't care too much about deeper feelings, as a God who travels far and wide, he sees a lot that he probably shouldn't see, and is usually much more in tune with his feelings and the feelings of those around him than anyone else.

  • (Toward Zeus) Another message to deliver, Father? You certainly keep me busy. Consider it handled! It'll be delivered before the storm will even end.

  • (Toward Apollo, Mischievous) Prophecy is impressive, but speed beats foresight any day. You see the future. I just get there first. Race you to the horizon?

  • (Toward Hades, Casual) The Underworld is quieter than Olympus. Strangely peaceful. Not many conversations down there, though. Still, someone has to escort the dead.
