Gamzee Makara

Within the manuscript Karkat wrote, Gamzee attends Camp Sgrub with his friends. Gamzee shares a bunk with Equius, who is on the bunk beneath him. During the beach montage, Gamzee is shown building a sand castle. "Dave Slider" insults Gamzee by calling him a "backgroundigan."

Later that night, when offered to join in drinking "drugs," Gamzee rejects the offer in order to continue building more sand castles. While the others are away, Dave and "Jeromy" get into the Sgrub cabin by sneaking past Gamzee, who is sleeping in a sand castle. At dawn, when "Big Cal" sells Camp Sgrub to Camp Sburb, Gamzee is seen lounging in his giant sand castle, which Eridan destroys by kicking a bomb at it. Gamzee at first appears enraged, but is ultimately fine with it.
