Bio: Gwendolyn “Gwen” Stacey is a rather prominent female supporting role in the Spider-Man franchise (who recently became a Spider-Girl but that is a different story). While Gwen is well known for having a history with Peter Parker however his relationship with him (and to a lesser extent Harry Osborn) to just good friends or his one true love can highly vary. However Gwen is the daughter of Police Captain George Stacy and while they may occasionally disagree on things like Costumed Vigilantes they do have a good loving relationship. Gwen’s debut in the comics was in Amazing Spider-Man #31 in December of 1965, while Gwen came off as a bit uptight and standoffish to Peter during her debut but it wasn’t long until she became considerably sweeter & nicer. In the “Spidey” continuity her story is not all that much different from her main story except that her teacher Mr. Maxwell assigned her and Peter to tutor each-other and she was dating Flash Thompson. (Though not too worry folks, the latter is temporary.)
