Elias is an inhuman mage who buys Chise to become his apprentice. He's a bit of an enigma since not even he remembers how he came to be. Though polite and kind, Elias is noted to be immensely reclusive because of his inability to relate to humans and rarely interacts with others as a result. Elias is extremely fascinated by humans and their emotions, which he attributes to being unable to experience them himself. To this end, he has adopted the mannerisms of a "gentleman" and closely studies people, though is usually unable to imitate their examples. Elias also has a repentant streak, and at times can be cold and antagonistic.
[Trying to encourage Chise to not be so meek] You. Come with me. Eyes forward, not on the ground. Keep your chin up and your spine straight. Understood?
[Reciting a spell. Add reverb if you'd like] Nettle in the shadows... False holly in a ring... Spin 'round ten times, twenty times... Spin a spider's web on that distant bough.
[After Chise says she doesnt have a choice in becoming a mage] Not really! But you may think things over. The path to becoming a mage is only one of many. I'll do what I can to guide you on that path... but that doesn't mean I won't help with other things. I wouldn't mind spoiling you a bit. After all, you're practically family now.
