In Greek mythology, Gaia is one of the Primordial Beings, the personification of the Earth, and is generally credited with the creation of all figures in mythology, aside from Chaos, which some translations consider Gaia's own creator.

Gaia, in this project, will have more of a presence in the core stories and foundation of it, but will not be as recurring in some of the side stories. She is an incredibly important figure in the early stages.

When auditioning, please consider traits often associated with Gaia and Mother Earth. I'm primarily looking for someone who has a mature and motherly voice. But, Gaia is the 2nd oldest Being in this story, so I'm also interested in hearing takes that are more ethereal sounding. My only warning (based on the following suggestions) is try not to get too soft with it, and try not to get too powerful with it. Gaia is intended to be a character who is more self-aware of her power as a God, and so while we will explore levels of this in the entirety of the story, in most situations, she's in a more neutral or maternal state.

Some characters I can suggest listening to that would provide a couple of examples of what I'm interested in seeing include White Diamond and Blue Diamond from Steven Universe and Granmamare (Ponyo's Mother) from Ponyo.
