After The Rampjaar (Short indie animation series)
Isaac Brown for Voice Actor: Hans
Hans Bentinck
Voice type: Warm, grounded, sincere, perceptive; softer than William, but emotionally strong
Accent preference: Dutch preferred
Hans Bentinck is William’s close friend and emotional counterpart. Where William is guarded, Hans feels more open and humanly accessible. He is observant, loyal, and deeply caring, with a presence that can soften tension without ever feeling weak. He understands William in ways others do not, and much of his strength lies in what he chooses to notice and what he chooses to remain silent about.
Hans should sound genuine and steady, with warmth underneath his words. He is not comic relief, nor is he overly theatrical. His voice should feel lived-in and natural: someone who offers trust, comfort, and quiet devotion in a harsh political world.
Personality notes: loyal, compassionate, intuitive, calm, emotionally resilient
Performance notes: this role works best with a naturalistic performance. The bond between Hans and William is central, so emotional sincerity matters more than sounding overly dramatic.

Let them think what they like of me. I would rather stand at your side and be judged for it than leave you alone in this.
ou have not slept. You have not eaten. And still you insist on standing as though your body were not your own. Must you always suffer so quietly?
It is fortunate you are still alive enough to disappoint them. Of course prince, I'm just joking.
