After The Rampjaar (Short indie animation series)
Isaac Brown for Voice Actor: William
William of Orange
Age: Early twenties
Voice type: Calm, restrained, intelligent, aristocratic; capable of quiet emotional intensity
Accent preference: Dutch preferred
The Prince of Orange carries himself with discipline and self-control, even under enormous pressure. He is politically important, constantly observed, and forced to mature faster than he should have. He rarely says more than necessary.
William should sound composed and noble, but never empty or overly cold. At his core, he is still young, someone burdened by expectation, isolation, and the fear of failure. The performance should capture someone who has learned to suppress emotion, while still allowing brief cracks of vulnerability to show through.
Personality notes: reserved, sharp-minded, dutiful, melancholic, quietly intense
Performance notes: subtle acting is very important for this role. I’m looking for a voice that can communicate emotion through restraint rather than exaggeration.

I did not choose the weight placed upon my nameYet each day, it settles further onto my shoulders, until even silence feels like duty.

They call it survival, as though enduring it were some kind of triumph. But there are things a nation survives that a person does not.
