If you would like additional information or access to character portraits for visual reference, please message us. Sample audition lines can be provided upon request. Payment rates vary depending on role complexity, and actors are welcome to audition for multiple characters.


Role Categories:

Minor Recurring – Limited screen time, but reappear periodically throughout the story.

Significant One-Off – Appear in a small number of scenes, but with a reasonable amount of dialogue.

Minor One-Off – Named characters who appear briefly in one or two scenes.

Minor Recurring
Sharp-tongued banker in her early 60s with a polished, businesslike demeanor. Snarky and perpetually disappointed in Riker, despite his celebrity hero status. Mature, mid-range.

"Oh it would be wonderful if you could land that gig, becoming the sworn defender of the Queen... It's such a respectable position! ...And I bet the benefits are wonderful as well. ...Have you thought about the benefits, Riker?"

Retired lawyer in his late 60s with a slightly dorky, exasperated energy. Wants Riker to get a “real” job and finally move out of the guest house. Mid-range, older, raspy.
"Oh misery me... You’re the Crown’s Knight. Why don’t you talk some sense into her? The last thing this kingdom needs is to go out looking for trouble in outside lands."

High-energy colosseum hype announcer with massive stage presence. Visually and tonally inspired by real-life announcer Faruq Tauheed. Announces fighters before battle.
"In this corner... She may be new, but don’t get fooled by this lady. This kickboxing machine will send you straight to hades! She’s the Monk with a Mouth... Eevie Greene!"

Seafaring general who pitches in to help in a large naval battle. Based on the real-life British Youtuber Stuart Ashens. Mid-range, British, naval.

"Good to see you, Sir Riker. You’d given us quite the collywobbles for a few moments there. Weren’t quite sure you’d make it out before the building went down."

Unnamed NPCs who are dressed in suits, resembling mafia goons. They mostly serve Mayor Pontius, and talk in thick Brooklyn accents.

Spiritual guru in his 60s or 70s who trains Eevie and Mike during a short arc. Calm, measured presence with a South or Southeast Asian-inspired aesthetic.
"Eevie, I am most vexed. You showed more promise than this. Perhaps a day’s rest will do the two of you well. I shall give you the afternoon and night off so that you may reflect on today’s training session..."

Petite, shortstack college girl who has a crush on Riker, and stalks him a few times. Self-professed superfan. Her advances are played for fun, comedic effect.
"Oh! By the way, Sir Riker! Want to see a drawing I did of you this weekend? I made some artistic 'choices' when depicting you, but I can assure you it’s VERY tasteful."

Ghost from a wealthy family that mysteriously vanished decades ago. At time of death, was in his early 60s. Has a doughy, gentle persona and is relieved when the heroes agree to help solve the mystery of the family's curse.
"Oh praise the Almighty...! Thank the lord of all that is good and holy...! It’s been so long, I thought this day would never come, and now at long last...our estate may finally be saved."

Ghost from a wealthy family that mysteriously vanished decades ago. At time of death, was in his mid 50s. Is Alphonse(above)'s brother. Is more vengeful than his brother, and lashes out at the heroes.
"How dare you, Alphonse... You are a traitor... you have welcomed outsiders... outsiders back into our estate after they were the ones responsible for the downfall of Specter Villa..."

Tells Riker and the heroes about a tragic backstory in his town which was covered up by the king. Looks like Wilford Brimley, speaks with a subtle cockney accent.
"Y’er just bein’ fed whatever bilge the Queen’s servin’ ye. Well pull up a stool, bloke. I’ll tell ye the real story of the Black Musket Massacre..."

A group of attractive, muscular chefs who are all identical cousins. Vaguely resembles a young Gordon Ramsay. They teach the heroes regional recipes when they arrive in a new town.
"Until the next time we meet, my little soufflés... Stay hungry, hm-hm."

A group of attractive, "well-endowed" chefs who are all identical cousins. Has a cute, whimsical demeanor. They teach the heroes regional recipes when they arrive in a new town. Catchphrase is calling heroes "my little soufflés".
"Until the next time we meet, my little soufflés... See you soon!"

Legal magistrate who assists the heroes with an investigation in the desert for a brief time. Wears a keffiyeh and aviator sunglasses. Speaks with a 1920s detective flair.
"That’s about the long and short of it, see? I got the flatfoots searching for crumbs, but nothin’ yet. That’s where you folks come in."

Generic NPC

Incompetent, minor villain group who takes over an aquarium so their group (Defense Union for Monsters) can gain publicity. Depicted as a dorky blonde guy with a shabby beard and glasses. Holds a sword made out of an empty paper towel tube. Never actually does combat.
"Yeah well the only danger here is like... you! You’ve murdered almost every monster we’ve sicced on you from this lab!"

Leader of the incompetent villain group “Defense Union for Monsters.” Depicted as a haggard older woman with a monobrow. Holds Drake hostage and threatens to feed him to a sea serpent.
"Monsters would co-exist with our society! They’d be on the same level as people. We’d share our homes with them! That is what we believe! For we are defenders! We are righteous! We... are... DUM!"

Intelligent medical student down on his luck who is attacked by street thugs. Secretly a migrant, even though outsiders are forbidden from Dracanea. Depicted as a young, tan-skinned man.

"I used to study medicine in my homeland, and came here in search of new healing techniques. Dracanea is nothing like I have ever seen... I had no idea that foreigners were forbidden..."

Jade’s 10-year-old daughter. Bright, well-mannered, and always seen with a book. Kidnapped by the Rebel Army, but never frightened or whiny.

Seraphina’s girlfriend and fellow arena fighter. Wears a devil-themed costume to contrast Seraphina’s angel motif. Snarky, sharp-tongued, and fiercely protective of Seraphina. Speaks with a hostile New York/Brooklyn accent.

"Quit while you’re ahead, ya stupid ditz. You look ridiculous in that outfit. You trying to be like a cross between a scientist and a garbageman? Pffft, get real!"

Flamboyant, beautiful blonde arena fighter. Despises Riker and aims to outshine him. Extremely self-absorbed and openly hostile toward Brock, and has a strong fanbase of his own.
"Tch, that was awfully drab. It could have used more posing. And... Riker who? Sorry, doesn’t ring a bell. But that comes with the territory of being new. "

College bully hired to antagonize Riker and Christoph despite being younger than them. Perpetually angry and aggressive. Defeated by Riker in a single-turn assessment battle.
"This is getting old... just like you, hah-hah! I’ll see you losers on the battlefield when we have our assessments! Hahaha, later twerps!"

Church pastors who provide gameplay functions such as blessing and healing.

Leader of the pirate crew. Swarthy with blue hair and a slight Irish brogue. After being rescued from the Rebels, turns over a new leaf and later assists the heroes in a large naval battle.

"Specter, she calls ‘erself. She’s one of the bigshots with them Rebels. We were to make a 'transaction', but she’s a nasty one! Double-crossed me and locked me in that chest when the topic of money came up."

Cool Black college professor in his early 30s who enjoys building small robot models. Assists Riker and Christoph when they are coerced by the military academy dean.
"Okay, okay, fine. No quizzes. But only because I want to get home myself. Remember, as the wise man once said... 'It's Friday for me too.' "

Standard stock soldiers of the antagonists. Hostile toward the heroes. Depicted as suave, slightly long-haired blonde young men.

"Shut up, you know nothing about our cause! It is just! And it is pure! We won’t bow down before tyrants like you, any longer!"
"Hold it! This is the end of the line for all of you! Master Valence’s chamber is off limits!"

Standard soldiers serving Queen Nikole. Cheery and energetic. Salute the heroes and consistently address Riker as “Sir Riker.” Includes both male and female models.
"Hello Sir Riker! Thwart any nefarious plots by the Rebel scum today? Remain sharp, Sir!"
"Sir Riker! I am honored you would grace me with your dapper presence! What cologne are you wearing, Sir? ...Err, I mean... Heroism is awesome, isn't it, Sir Riker?

Sleazy black-market merchant. Not a villain, but thoroughly unlikeable. Spindly, with a long ponytail. Evaluates trinkets, gems, and valuables for the heroes in a single scene. Motivated purely by money.
"Let me explain to you how I work. I am not a museum. I am not an academic institution. I do not give out info pro bono. I am a business, and businesses require money to operate. Do you understand?

Drake’s 17-year-old son. Quiet and largely uninterested in most things. Light tan-skinned with a subtle emo aesthetic. Son of Drake (Scottish) and Shivaun (Indian-Scot).
"Oh... Yeah. You're Riker Tierros, I guess. Didn’t you like, fight in some war or something?"

Drake’s wife. Stoic and somber, but deeply devoted to her husband. Resents that he continues adventuring while ill. Depicted as a middle-aged woman with an Indian complexion. Speaks with a subtle Scottish accent.

"Bloody hell... My husband is in no condition to start trekking about the kingdom in search of monsters... He’s not healthy!"

Villainous teen who places a curse on Eevie's tribal village, causing them to talk in gibberish. Speaks in old-timey Victorian British slang, mirroring modern-day teen slang that adults don't understand.

"Ha-hah. Okeydokey, fogey. I bet I could take all of you. Word on the street’s that Riker Tierros is all washed up. And dew-beaters from that backwater town be all peaceful and don’t fight much."

Assorted thief characters. Some serve as enemies, others as neutral NPCs. Wear cloaks that obscure their figures.

"Heh. I don't think our glorious leader would be very happy if he saw a group of heroes stomping around our headquarters."

Assorted punk NPCs, appearing in both bald and mohawk varieties. Sometimes enemies, sometimes background characters. Speak in a Cockney dialect.

"Ah criminy, looks like you caught up with me after all... Alright buddy! Ya want this wallet back? I’ll give it back to you... after I kick your arse, ah-haha-hah!"

"Guys, I don’t like the look in that chick’s eyes, she seems like a crazy one. Like, ACTUALLY crazy."

Teenage pirate girl imprisoned for failing her pirate exam. Rescued by the heroes, briefly reforms, then falls in with the thieves before resurfacing later. Speaks in a cute Cockney dialect.

"Sorry... like I said, I’m a newbie here. Just signed up a few weeks ago, I did. I barely know a tat about the way things work ‘round this ship. Heck, I don’t even know what a bleedin’ poopdeck is..."
