Character Info:

Vikala is one of the Twelve Divine Generals, the Divine Rat tasked with guarding the

northern skies from Astral threats. Despite her celestial role, she did not grow up revered

or confident. As a child raised in a Harvin orphanage, her unusual powers and ominous

aura led to her being feared and ostracized, leaving her isolated and deeply insecure.

Her life changed when a mysterious shikigami named Dormouse appeared and bestowed

upon her the mantle of a Divine General. Along with this role came her iconic rat-ear

headband, a symbolic switch that allows her to embody a radiant, hopeful guardian

persona-someone who spreads joy, dreams, and wonder across the skies.

Caught between her yang side, which wants to shine and inspire others, and her yin side,

which longs to hide away from the world, Vikala struggles constantly with self-doubt. Yet

rather than fleeing from responsibility, she chooses to believe in the open skies, her

friends, and the possibility that even someone afraid can still be a beacon of hope.

Personality:

She's torn between bright optimism and crippling anxiety, often switching depending on

her emotional state. Her confident, bubbly “Divine General” persona is partly an act-one

she uses to protect both herself and others. Without her rat ears, her true self emerges:

shy, nervous, and terrified of disappointing those who rely on her. Her sensitivity makes

her especially gentle toward others who feel lonely or out of place. Even when scared,

she steps forward-not because she’s fearless, but because she wants to believe in

herself.

Voice Direction:

Bright and happy! But fragile. She should have a total tonal whiplash when she swaps

over to her nervous side. Rather than her usual idol-like enthusiasm, when nervous her

voice should be softer, hesistant and sometimes panicked.
