Sam-Not-Samantha Lowe, the rough, fiery, utilitiarian younger cousin.


According to mbti typing, Sam is an ESFP-A. Rather than being indecisive like her cousin, Sam generally prefers to act first and think about her consequences later. As the more assertive of the two cousins, Sam often finds herself biting off more than she can chew—thanks to the "Almost Immortal" condition, this often isn't a problem. The repercussions of decision without large consequence is shown rather evidently in Sam, where the ability to die and remake your decisions is abused rather largely. Truthfully, Sam only acts assertive as she feels that she can't be heard any other way. Rather than having a more passive personality, she actively attempts to be as forceful as possible, fearing that she won't get her point across otherwise. Sam takes rather large amounts of pride in her newfound ability to carry weapons freely, far more than Signus. 

Samantha primarily spends her time with her cousin Signus due to him being a rather present figure in her early childhood. With Signus, she feels that she is being heard and enjoys his different approach to problem solving. In a way, the cousins make up for each other's weaknesses. Where Sam lacks in gentle  persuasion, she makes up for in willpower and action. 

Sam's initial relationship with Terry, while rocky at first, eventually grew to be something more of an understanding one. Once the cousins became subconsciously linked, allowing Sam to perceive Signus's imaginary friend, she realized that Terry provided the mentorship and positive role modeling for Signus, helping him overcome his insecurities. Sam learns that her older cousin wasn't perfect. She, too, realized the need to be a support for Signus when things got bad.

Sam's preferred aesthetic is utilitarian function. While she may not have the stylish woos of Signus, she certainly makes up for it in her many, many pockets on her trademark M65 field jacket. This is also evidenced in her preferred weapon, the Mossberg 590A1. Rather than Signus's stylish but outdated lever action rifle, she prefers the strong, reliable sound of a pump action shotgun. Dirt, grime, or dust, it'll still throw lead downrange, almost regardless of the conditions.
