Westside Story - A New Vegas Noir (Fallout: New Vegas quest mod; round 1)
Matt Bartlett for Generic 'Stagehand', male variant #1.
Shacked up inside a multiplex theater, these are the foot soldiers of the 'Tampico Crew', a raider gang born out of a pre-war acting troupe. While the higher-ups still concern themselves with their theatrical heritage, the stagehands are mostly newcomers hired straight from the wasteland and the slums, serving primarily as guards and drug smugglers.
While these characters are primarily intended as a potential enemy variants or background extras for a quest hub, their scripted and ambient conversations can serve to tell the player a lot about their faction and its standing in the world.
Importance: minor character.
Line count: ~200.
- male adult
Wasn’t sure what to think at first, but I’m starting to like the idea of re-opening the theater. It’s gonna be so much easier to fleece those dumbass tourists when they come to us willingly.
If that’s a classic, then the "classics" can kiss my ass. How about the one with the song that goes {to the tune of Mack the Knife}“Oh, the shark has pretty teeth, dear...”? Least that one’s fun!
{Combat taunt}Tampico crew, motherfucker!
Thank you so much for your interest in this project and its roles, Matt! Things were quite competitive, and the way it worked out I couldn't offer you a role this time around, but if you'll still want to audition for some of the further roles that will be available in the second casting call later this year, I would happily consider you for them.
Hey, there are only so many parts for so many folks! :) I'm glad you found the right folks for those roles and I'll keep an eye out for the next one!
