The Scientist was a brilliant scientist working within the Empire. He pioneered many scientific breakthroughs in the most highly advanced fields of study. With a near ravenous appetite for knowledge, he continued to pursue new and increasingly dangerous subject matters. This led him to begin building a powerful machine, seeking to break the laws of science itself. During a routine test, The Scientist's dangerous methods led to the machine going critical, leading to a containment breach. If not for his quick thinking, the destruction would have enveloped the entire block. Despite this, the Empire grew tired of cleaning up his mess and expelled him, permanently. Unwilling to abandon his work, The Scientist now seeks a new energy source to finally realize the true potential of the mysterious machine.
