Lord of Sunlight, Lord of Cinder. Gwyn came far and from the darkness of the void we know as Space, leaving his own world and coming to this knew one. Desperate to protect his people he was duped into believing the dragons were a threat that had to be slain. He did not realize a great many things until it was too late, betraying the small race of humanoids and using them as fodder, stealing the Dark Soul and branding them with a horrible curse to keep his own people safe, though he betrayed several of them as well, using them for the good of the many. Gwyn has many sins, and is a tragic figure like the kings in ancient plays, realizing his flaws before the Undead, supposedly Chosen, comes to link the Flame. I imagine him sounding like Christopher Lee but if you have another voice you think would fit please audition. His lines will focus on the Dragon War, his betrayal of mankind and battling the demons created by the Witch of Izalith.
"And so it has come full circle. The people I have betrayed have come to be our salvation. But for how long? My son was right... this world is doomed. But better to extend the fire than live in dark."
"Our world was beset by war. A great and terrible war that consumed all. Canst thou not see why we came here? When the way opened I fled with those I could, and we arrived at this dead world. Only at the time, we believed it to be living, and we believed the dragons our newest threat."
"Come then. Chosen by fate or whim, thou hast made their way through these shifting, transitory lands to claim the Souls of Lords. My mark on thine kind providing you with the means of doing so, such is the bitter irony."
