Duchess Danielle is a Shakespeare-trained actress and the de-facto leader of the Thespian Guild, a monarchic organization grown out of a pre-war acting troupe. A woman of great power, talent and intellect, she exudes stage presence, aristocratic dignity and cold calculation in equal measure. As the player encounters her, she is caught up in a dispute around the succession to the organization's throne and will stop at nothing to ensure the crown ends up on her head - after all, every other scenario would result in her certain death.
In keeping with the Guild's tradition of integrating their canonical texts into their vernacular, her manner of speech is dense and rhetorical, dripping with theatrical quotes and literary allusions.
NOTE: While any North American accent would be fine for her, a posh or even Shakespearean British one would also be thematically apt.

Hey Patti, thanks for the submission! You probably saw as much already, but I've chosen to withdraw this role for the time being since I decided that Danielle's script needs some more time in the oven after all - however, it'll be available again in one of the following rounds of auditions, and I'd love to hear more from you then!
