Duchess Danielle is a Shakespeare-trained actress and the de-facto leader of the Thespian Guild, a monarchic organization grown out of a pre-war acting troupe. A woman of great power, talent and intellect, she exudes stage presence, aristocratic dignity and cold calculation in equal measure. As the player encounters her, she is caught up in a dispute around the succession to the organization's throne and will stop at nothing to ensure the crown ends up on her head - after all, every other scenario would result in her certain death.
In keeping with the Guild's tradition of integrating their canonical texts into their vernacular, her manner of speech is dense and rhetorical, dripping with theatrical quotes and literary allusions.
NOTE: While any North American accent would be fine for her, a posh or even Shakespearean British one would also be thematically apt.

Hallo Andrea! Angesichts deiner Bio erlaube ich mir mal, auf Deutsch zu antworten ;) Ich danke dir vielmals für dein Interesse an meinem Projekt und für deine Einsendungen. Ich habe mich nach einiger Überlegung dazu entschlossen, die Rolle vorerst wieder zurückzuziehen, da das Skript mMn noch nicht ganz die gewünschte Qualität erfüllt - sie wird aber bei den künftigen Casting-Runden wieder verfügbar werden und ich würde mich dann auch freuen, wieder etwas von dir zu hören!
Hallo ElPascal, schön zu sehen dass ich nicht die einzige deutschsprachige im CCC bin, aber ich glaube wir sind duenn gesäht 😜.
Die Rolle hat unheimlich Spaß gemacht, da ich so richtig "posh Shakespearean" ueberkandidelt sprechen konnte. Sag mir Bescheid, wenn die Rolle wieder verfügbar ist. Liebe Grüße
