Description / Bio: The main character.  He’s known as the son of Aria, a former region champion but still a famous trainer.  Many close to Darien tend to compare him to Aria, but his personality is rather contrasting to her’s.  Darien is rather weak-willed and meek.  He doesn’t really stand out or attempt to stand out within the crowd.  He tries to do his best, but others judge him rather harshly and with big expectations to be like his mother.  His mother, on the other hand, doesn’t judge him critically and wants him to become his own person.  Even so, Darien wishes to be as strong as his mother and wants to become something she can be proud of.  

He’s knowledgeable of various topics.  While he may not remember a lot of the details, he’s familiar with broad strokes in a lot of topics.  One aspect where he’s very familiar with the subject matter is Pokemon battling, as his mother taught him.  He doesn’t have a lot of experience battling though.

He’s an introvert through and through.  He’s fine with having a conversation and doesn’t freak out when he’s approached… usually.  Unless someone straight up yells at him, be hostile, or speaks too fast, Darien can handle the situation well.  He doesn’t actively go out of his way to converse, but he’s not anti-social.

His father, Wilson, is also known as a strong trainer, but he divorced Aria around the time that Darien was born.  The two don’t contact much at all, but Darien is aware of his existence.

This character arc revolves around the theme of “Act because of your ideals and beliefs, not because you want to prove you’re something to someone else.”  

Preferred Voice: Reserved, quiet, somewhat shy.  When he gets surprised by something, he can get rather loud.

Quirks in my Writing: He stutters a lot and tends to exclaim a lot when something scares him, like a loud noise.  He tends to get tired easily and lose energy fast.
