[ AUDIO DRAMA ] A General's Allegory ( Will be uploaded on Youtube! )
kagehana for Djiangra (Jyang-rah)
(1)* (Patriotic and sane.)
"With all my body, heart and soul, I swear to protect this land."
(2.)* ( Drug intoxicated and furious. She is about to murder someone. ) [ Do the most terrifying laugh you can do. Please don't pull off a Yandere impression. Perhaps a good 'psychotic' laugh is one that feels like your throat is getting murdered. ]
( Laughter ) "You have NO IDEA how long I've been waiting for this!"(1)* ( She gets high, her voice is muffled and hysterical, and her voice becomes shaky. The drug is a stimulant to the nerves, causing an intense ticklish effect before elevating her alertness. ) [ The drug is within a syringe. ]
(Ecstatic) "Ohohhoh... SHIIIIIT!" ( Relieved panting, the drug causes her to sound like as if she is suppressing intense vigor. ) "Okayokayokay... okay... I'm ready... I'm ready..."
(2)* ( Her drug-dependency kicks in, causing her breathing to be unsteady before she screams in demand. She rampantly searches around luggage, desperate to find substance. ) [ Make your best 'exhausted' junkie impression in this one. ]
"I need more... more, MORE!" ( She furiously rummages around things, attempting to find substance. Unable to, she falls to the ground unconscious after the rampant search.)(1)* "I hear my ancestors too, little priestess."
"Oh wait--"
(2)* ( She whispers with a harsh tone. ) "It's neither your father nor your mother, and neither your god. It's all in your head."
Hearing your voice is a delight! It's smooth and tranquil to the ears. Apparently, the downside to that is that it seems to be staying that way. I need a very sharp contrast of the serene voice, specifically one that is brutal and harsh, and for the laugh, this may be a good reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNzfFw-UBz0 (Turn down volume first! )
I am sorry, I can try to record some retakes. :) Otherwise I could wait and audition for other roles if you like.
Please take as much retakes as you like. The more, the merrier. But I do advise against having too many varieties. I think taking the best one is better than saying the same line three times, especially that the given script is long. And no need to be sorry! It was great!
