Ilter is fed up with his life. He watches as his guild falls apart, and his unquestioning loyalty to his guild master falters. He starts to understand the world more when his Guild Master commands him to fight in an obvious losing battle, prompting him to leave and find his new path. 

  • (After watching a dragon melt his men) "I've seen them all die. The Guild Hall is burning. It's pointless" 

  • (Being told by the Guild Master to return and fight) "Do you want to know what I think about your 'guild', well, don't answer, I know you don't care. But, I'll tell you anyway. Fuck your guild, fuck your scales, and fuck your pathetic son." 

  • "You lost a sword in a duel with Rayford? Fuck me, how do you sleep at night. He's the most pathetic knight in my former guild, poor guy must be dead by now."
