Thaydar is a lieutenant in the Royal Guard, one of Marak's trusted men. He doesn't speak much but his loyalty is to the Goblin King and Kingdom. He often joins Marak when he ventures above ground, both keeping an eye on him and partaking in the fun that the King cooks up.

Line 1: (reporting, solemn)"We've come across six more goblins, all seeming to be in a deep sleep just like you said Marak. Still no sign of Hulk though, and I can't find lieutenant Sayada anywhere in the castle. I fear he has become a victim of this curse as well."
Line 2: (clearing throat, seeming uncomfortable)"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid Lady Emily isn't here right now. It seems she has gone above ground with Seylin... Don't worry though, he's been given strict orders to not let her out of his sight."

I think the rougher voice, when you did that lines the third time suited Marak better. :)
