Tales From The Gameverse! (A very small youtube project)
dmmcdoug for Coronis (Handle:'H5-Icee') Jungler for H5 gaming (e-sports/league of legends team)
[With booming confidence]: "Heh, this'll be cake. These amateurs have no idea who they're playing against. ::confident chuckle:: Eudora, I'll be heading bot lane soon! Drop a control ward to bait them, wait for Aesyle to give the word, and we go in!
[Thoughtfully holding a keepsake. Somber tone, with a lowered voice]: "It's been some time...since I've been here. I bet chalk on the walls is all faded, now. ::sigh of longing:: but what I would give to go back. Not just, ya know...physically there. Mentally. Everything was so. much. simpler.
Hey there! I'm going to leave a longer comment here than I usually do, since I would like to work with ya, but I've got some notes for you first, and would maybe like you to re-submit your audition if you've got the time! First of all (and this isn't a bit of criticism, just a random note) I don't know why, but when I saw your name and what you had auditioned for I was already getting set up to type "This role is for females only, I'm sorry", lol! I know the name Coronis comes off as male, and I've had a male audition for it before without reading closely, so I just thought it was funny. Anyway, on to your actual audition. I think you've got some great potential, and your voice is definitely the type I need for this role. However, you've got some pretty pronounced popping sounds on a few parts of the audition? Especially during your chuckle. I'm not really a stickler for audio quality, since I'm an amateur myself, but something like that would be super noticeable. I notice it doesn't always happen though, so I'd like to have you re-audition and see if you can avoid those, or at least have them come off as less pronounced? My final piece is that you had an odd pause or so in between some words that didn't need one, like in the first dialogue. "These amateurs have no (very quick but noticeable pause) idea who they're playing against". Just make sure everything flows smoothly! Sorry for the wall of text, wouldn't do it if I wasn't trying to help though. I hope you consider re-auditioning for the part, thank you!
Oh, it also looks like spacing out my lines on comments doesn't work...oops. That wall of text looks really messy without it
Thank you so much for your feedback! I will most definitely audition again once I fix those issues, and I should be able to do this again in a few hours. Thank you so much again for taking the time to give me some pointers.
