Risto is an odd character. All magic users are characterized by what form of magic they use. However, no one knows what magic Risto uses, and it's a theory among other characters that he doesn't use any at all. Those that have seen him seem to speculate that he lacks a physical body. 

  • (Mysterious and confident) "I'm afraid I am. I have spent too much time here already, I thank you for not making me leave sooner."

  • (Confident.) *In Response to a Question* - "It's the thought that counts. Have you been in many battles?"

  • (Uncertainty) "I've been in quite a few myself. Too many, actually. But this one, it seems different."
