Bio: Jean Grey is the initial lady to join the X-Men and was at first the only girl in the team. During Jean’s debut she was known as Marvel Girl in which while she has had other powers and personas over the years back during her early days in the X-Men she mainly had Telekinetic powers to use against her adversaries (and occasionally ward off her male team member’s advances). While just about all the guys have shown interest in Jean, Cyclops/Scott Summers was the one she had a long-time relationship with for years. While Jean was at first a bit uncertain over what kind of School Professor X is running she does become a good member of the team. Oh yes and while Jean plays a fairly prominent role in X-Men Issue 1 she only has 3 lines in Giant-Size X-Men.
(Note: Jean was a teenager in X-Men Issue 1 while she is a grown woman in Giant-Size X-Men, like Angel you can alter the voice a bit if you wish but it’s unnecessary.)
(X-Men Issue 1, Surprised
to Serious & Firm) It all seemed so strange, Professor, and so… mysterious!
I was to tell no one but my parents that I’m coming here… and you didn’t
describe the course of study! What kind of school is this, sir? I have a
right to know!(X-Men Issue 1, Annoyed
& Amused using her Telekinetic Powers on Beast for his Line 4) Don’t
worry, Warren! I’m not exactly help-less, as you can see!(X-Men Issue 1, Impressed
by her new suit.) Mmm, whoever designed this uniform could have given
Christian Dior a run for his money!(Giant-Size X-Men, Mildly
Regretful) I wish we could’ve contacted the Beast! Hank McCoy’s dexterous
digits might be—eh—handy on a job like this.(Giant-Size X-Men, Scared
& Uncertain) We can’t hold that thing off forever, Scott! If the
Professor’s plan doesn’t work…(Giant-Size X-Men, Happy
& Relieved) Fresh Air… A Warm Sun.. Did you ever see anything more
beautiful?
Good stuff.
Thank you!
