Hideyoshi (AKA Hide) is the best friend of Kaneki.  Through thick and thin he seems to always have his back even if sometimes he can cause trouble for the half-ghoul. His voice is comforting, giving the feeling that he has he situation planed out in his head (even though he doesn't)

  • "oh! so shes the luck woman that cought your eye huh? (get up and yells) Hey Ma'am! We're ready to order.

  • "Dude. You eating properly? You don't look so hot. You better eat right or you won't hold up."

  • "I know that university student... I mean... Kaneki is... my close friend."
