Kyuta's master and teacher, Kumatetsu is hot tempered and a little more than rough around the edges, not to mention horrible at explaining what his young apprentice is supposed to do during training, and how to fix what he's doing wrong. Although Kumatetsu has more brawn than brain he's got a heart of gold and genuinely cares for Kyuta as his own son.

    Then I'll explain. Listen up, first  you grip your sword... 'Kay? Then its a whoosh and a bang! Okay?(shouting)No! No! No! GRRRIIIIIIIIP IT!

  • (Frustrated and shouting)What's there to teach just do it! DO IT! ARGH STUBBORN BOY!(Frustrated but not shouting)How much clearer do you need me to make it for you? You grab the sword, that's in your soul. Okay now do it!
