So... What do I do with it now?
Don't bring my parents into this!
Love it
Thanks! Should I get the part?
AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! IM SOO MAD!!!!!! IVE TRIED AND HOPED AND THEN SOME GIRL COMES ALONG, IS BARELY HEARD, AND THEN GETS PICKED!!!!! I WILL NEVER TRY OUT FOR THIS....... EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH
And the reason she got the part was because Aurora has a quieter voice, jgss0109 liked her audition, and you didn't stress the right word for the second line.
Hi, I know this isn't my business, but as a director and voice actor, I feel the need that someone point out how incredibly immature and rude your reaction was. Rejection is a part of acting and you'll have a far happier, kinder, and more satisfied life if you accept that. That "some girl" that "came along, barely heard" probably spent just as much time working on their audition as you. You aren't entitled to get the part just because you want it. I'm sure, based off your previous comments, that you're feeling fairly defensive right now, but I honestly am saying this as a tip from one actor to another. Directors look at your previous work when deciding to cast you. Making rude and immature comments will likely make them turn away. Auditioning often will feel like you deserve a part and then someone else will get it. That's normal. That's a part of acting. Try to remember that everyone else is going through the same cycle of rejection and it's not fair to ruin their shining moment of being cast with jealousy. Besides, I often say that every rejection is one step closer to being cast. Keep at it, be kind, and be professional, and you'll get the part one day!
