The steadfast and kindhearted daycare worker, who chooses to dutifully remain with the abandoned children at the daycare as they wait out the end of the world. Majority of this short story is told through her audio recordings.
Looking for a realistic, grounded performance, someone who can really bring out all the emotions and believable fear and heartbreak. Addie will cry, sound shaken, and sob at various points. She stays strong for the children, but when she's speaking to her recorder in private, her voice will crack and tremble as she holds back tears.

Everybody else has left. All the other kids were picked up, the other staff left. They gave me all the keys. I promised to stay and wait for as long as... well. Even if some of the parents show up, I guess some of them won’t, so I’m just waiting. Until.
This is so much pizza, but I can’t... well. It’s enough for everybody to have as much pizza and candy as they can eat. I don’t want them to have too much, though... I don’t want them to feel sick when they... (Audio cuts off as she starts to cry. Then the next recording:) So I gave everybody pizza and candy and set them loose on the art room. Fuck it.
I can’t get the tv or radio to work, and I’m not putting the battery in my cell phone, so I’m just... I’m just gonna go lay down in there and stay with them. Until the end. But um. If you find this, I did my best, and they had a good day, and with any luck they never knew what happened. (starts sobbing before the recording ends)
