Alien: Protocol 7
Edmund Shippam for Verlaine (Captain of the Torrens)
An experienced civilian ship captain. Professional, steady voice but clearly shaken after the explosion. Speaks with authority but also concern for her crew. Needs a believable, grounded human performance. Verlaine is talking through an intercom directly to a station waide PA system. Verlaine is completely in the dark, they are unaware of any of her crew is alive, and Sevastopol so far, as far as she's concerned, is a ghost town. So when you do this take, imagine you're on the phone to someone and you're having connection issues, and you're trying to be clear so as to be heard. Verlaine is on the Torrens, which is a towing spaceship which isn't currently docked onto Sevastopol Station.
For audition: ABC format. Perform the line in one way -- your strongest take.
Take doesn't have to be clean, background noise preferred. Realistic performance. Any accent acceptable. Open to any race and all genders.

Hello Edmund, thank you for your time and effort! Your website is currently under construction so wasn't able to check your work. Good effort with the submission though, the audio files you went were right. So well done on that front, I'm not worried about compression from the site. These are currently only submissions, I'm more interested in your performance and voice. I'm happy to provide feedback if you wish, otherwise good work mate! If you're new to VA you're definitely making a strong start.
I'm always keen on feedback so I'd love it!
