Mr. Pierce is a man roughly 35 years of age for a majority of the short. His true form is that of a demon from hell, here on earth disguised as a priest to consume the souls of the churchgoers. There is a certain point where his voice goes from man to twisted demon. His human voice is charismatic, sing-songy, and has a certain level of extroversion and machismo with an occasional menacing edge. His demon voice is mocking, deep, and distorted, eager and hungry to consume the soul of the protagonist, Ruth.
