Bio: Maxwell “Maxie” Shiffman, known for his pencil-thin mustache, red bowtie & loud suits is the agent for Peter/Masked Marvel/Spider-Man who became interested in him when after when he sees Peter as the Masked Marvel take down Crusher Hogan so easily. Maxie has helped Spider-Man be on TV and their business relationship was successful, until Maxie was forced to terminate his contract with Spidey when the Daily Bugle was making their Anti-Spider-Man Editorials. While Maxie was initially in Spider-Man’s origin story he does occasionally appear in later stories though as for one example he was once a victim of Mysterio’s illusion powers.
