Appears in: X-Men Issue 1, Giant-Size X-Men 1

Bio: Warren Worthington III possesses a pair of large feathered wings extending from his back, enabling him to fly. He is the heir and CEO of the multi-billion dollar Worthington Industries (his father tends to be portrayed as someone who is against mutants). While Angel can be known as a bit of a show-off and a smooth-talking playboy to the ladies especially at first but he mature into a more responsible and heroic young man in his own right, but even during his early days in the X-Men like Beast he may joke with the guys and hit on the ladies but does know when to get serious when the situation calls for it. While Angel will be appearing in both stories he has a more moderate amount of lines in Giant-Size X-Men.

(Note: While there is a bit of an age difference for Angel in both stories, you don’t need to alter your voice between the two stories at all if you don’t want to.)

  • (X-Men Issue 1, Trying to
act Smooth & Charming) She has one very obvious power – the power to
    make a man’s heart beat faster!(X-Men Issue 1, Gleefully
laughing his head off at Hank’s expense) Oh, boy! What a gal! I hope she
keeps that big ape up there forever!

  • (X-Men Issue 1, Relieved
and Eager for Action) Ahhh! That’s more like it! Now I feel like myself
again! Now the Angel is ready to spread his wings… and fly!

    (Giant-Size X-Men 1,
Concerned & Realistic) Maybe an impossible one, Cyke—when you consider we
have no idea what we are looking for.

  • (Giant-Size X-Men 1, Worried
to Angry) Why, Cyclops? Why did you come back for us? You fool – don’t you
understand? It wanted you to come back – and bring others with you! It was
all a trap-- and now it’s-- --too late!

    (Giant-Size X-Men 1, Amused
though slightly concerned) Sorry we don’t have seats for all of you – but this
plane wasn’t designed to carry so many Mutants! Which brings us to our next
little problem… what are we going to do with 13 X-Men?
