When she was a young girl, Zelda saw a vision of Ganondorf's exile/execution to the Twilight Realm centuries earlier, which is how she came to know of the dark history between the worlds of light and shadow.
She should sound like a typical little girl, gentle and sweet. 

  • (with innocent curiosity and persistence) Why can't I look at it, Teacher? What was that scene reflected in the water just now? What happened to the wicked one just now? Which world did he go to?

  • (puzzled) Why...can't we let the darkness come in?

  • (saddened and confused) Fearsome...? Unholy...presence...?
