My Hero Academia Abridged
nova nightingale for Tsuyu Asui
It doesn't matter how righteous our feelings are. If we start another fight... if we break the law... then we're no better than the villains.
Cut it out! Only people who are my friends can call me that!
Call me Tsu.
Feedback is always welcome. ^^ Take 1 was a creepier tone, take 2 is a chain smoker, and take 3 is a normal cutesy voice. (Also, noticed I forgot to lower the gain on the first line)
I have to admit, I don't understand the chain smoker approach much, but it was really interesting to hear xD The two biggest things I would look out for are first, just be careful of peaking while speaking loud. It happens to most people, and just requires a little bit of experimentation with the gain on your mic! The 2nd is to just try and dial it down in speed. Not necessarily speaking your lines slowly, but what I would like to hear is for you to be mindful of annunciation, and making sure your words come out clear. It could take practice to make sure you don't speak too slowly to the point where it is apparent you are reading. Give it some tries, sometimes over pronouncing the words to practice helps a lot, too! Aside from that, I think your take 3 version was great, had good characterization, BUT I really appreciate your thinking outside of the box for the personality! Bonus points for that!
Honestly, I just thought of a voice I had yet to hear in an abridged series and wanted to try it out. I really appreciate the feedback, and you're right, pronouncing words, even when I'm focusing on tone, is very important. Thank you
I understand that! Well, you're right about that, haven't heard it! I actually think you could give it a whirl for recovery girl if you like! And you're welcome! Every voice actor has areas they can improve on, so please, don't take the feedback as me saying you're inferior to me or anybody on this page! The pronouncing words and speed was something I used to be horrible at, and still work on today!
Haha, that would be pretty fun, ^^ I like the comedic old character voices. And don't worry, I am genuinely grateful, and I don't feel discouraged. If nobody I trust tells me what I'm doing wrong, eventually someone will tell me who probably doesn't care to teach me at all. I was glad to hear it from you, I will continue to get better and work on the things I'm lacking.
