Samus Aran is an intergalactic bounty hunter and the main character of the Metroid series. In Skyfell, Samus is portrayed as more of an anti-hero, having previously served as a champion for Palutena's council. At the start of the series, it's revealed that Samus is in league with the main villain of our piece. Her reasons for betraying the council are unknown at first, but are later found out over the course of the story.
Due to her grief-stricken past, Samus is very elusive with her emotions and motivations. As a bounty hunter, she remains professional the whole way through, coming off as cold and apathetic. Deep down, Samus has incredibly complex emotions and has made it her mission to fight for those who cannot fend for themselves. I picture Samus being roughly in her early to mid 30's, so her voice must reflect her age and experience.
I take it you've never met a bounty hunter before. I don't work to save others. I do what I have to.
