The Storyteller is only in the introduction slideshow. They should have a typical storybook-type of voice, telling the story of the Undertale to the protagonist before sending them off to the world below.

  • Come now, child. I have a story to tell you. A story of magic and death. A story of sorrow and joy. Listen well, child. I will now tell you the Undertale.

  • Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: humans and monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Many years later... In a place called Mt. Ebott... The year is two-oh-one-x. Legends say that those who climb the mountain never return.

  • Now, child, I have told my story. It is time for you to begin your journey along the path fate has chosen for you.Are you ready to hear... the Undertale?
